A recent community increase in the rate of mosquito-borne illness is a major public health concern and has consequently led to an increase in the use of such chemicals. Community members are not only concerned about the risk of transmission of mosquito-borne illness, but also at the idea of increasing use of insecticides. Your community’s citizens have expressed concern about this potential to contaminate the environment and the risks to public health.
