Dynamic Programming for partation and backtracing CSE 3318 Lab Assignment 3 Due March 27 Goal: 1. Understanding of dynamic programming. 2. Understanding of subset sums. Requirements: 1. Design, code, and test a C program that uses dynamic programming to partition (if possible) asequence of n positive integers into three subsequences such that the sum of each subsequence is the same. For example, if the input were (10, 20, 30, 40, 40, 50, 80), with a total of m = 270, the three m/3 = 90 subsequences could be (10, 80), (20, 30, 40), and (40, 50). If the input were (20, 20, 30, 50), then no solution is possible even though the values yield a sum (m = 120) divisible by 3 (m/3 = 40).The input should be read from standard input (which will be one of 1. keyboard typing, 2. a shellredirect (

Hello please see attached files and instructions SUPERVISION CASE STUDY PROJECTIn this course, you will complete a final project on identifying and resolving supervisee/traineeperformance issues in the workplace. The objective of this assignment will be to create a briefpresentation that demonstrates your ability to pinpoint performance issues, identify potentialsolutions, and measure the success of an intervention. For this project, you will either:• Report a real-life performance issue experienced by yourself or colleagues, or• Create a hypothetical scenario of a performance issue in the workplaceUsing the Performance Diagnostic Checklist – Human Services (provided to you during Module7), you will analyze a pinpointed supervisee/trainee behavior from your situation/scenario anddetermine a potential intervention to implement and strategy for measuring success. You will present your assessment and intervention process via a 5-10 minute PowerPoint (orsimilar) presentation. You may choose to present via recording or live during your Module 9virtual live class. Both recorded and live presenters must submit their presentation slide decksin Canvas (preferably in exported PDF format), and both the slide decks and recordedpresentations must be submitted at least 24 hours before the Module 9 live class.SUPERVISION CASE STUDY PROJECT1. Title Slide• Should include your name and general title of your presentation (e.g., Repeated Delay inData Collection)2. Scenario Slide• Describe a staff performance issue you’ve observed or experienced or write a hypotheticalscenario of a staff performance issue in the workplace. Include contextual information, including the setting, relevant relationships between individuals in the scenario/situation,and environmental variables that will help inform your PDC-HS process later.3. Pinpoint Slide:• Pinpoint the staff behavior of interest for increase or decrease. Ensure that your definitionfollows all the requirements of a high-quality pinpoint (measurable, observable, passes the“dead person’s” test, not a non-behavior, etc.) Please review content in Module 3 for arefresher on appropriate pinpoints.4. PDC-HS Slides (x4):• Conduct a mock PDC-HS related to your scenario and briefly describe your findings for eachsection on separate slides. You should have a slide each for:o Trainingo Task Clarification and Promptingo Resources, Materials, & Processeso Performance Consequences, Effort, and CompetitionSUPERVISION CASE STUDY PROJECT5. Intervention Slide:• Select the intervention that you believe will have the greatest impact on the behavior of thesupervisee/trainee member. Provide a list of resources needed to implement theintervention (including people, time, funding, etc.), and a task analysis of the steps youwould take to put the intervention in place.6. Measuring Success Slide:• Describe what data you would collect to determine if the intervention was successful andhow you would collect those data. For a refresher on measurement strategies, pleasereview the content from Module 3.Whether the presentation is recorded or live, it is expected that the presenter will speak clearly, so that allwords are audible. It is also expected that the presenter will be prepared and articulate the information onthe slides in a smooth and controlled manner (i.e., deliver pertinent information without long pauses orrepetition of filler words).SUPERVISION CASE STUDY PROJECTRubric – 100 PointsCriteria 5 Points 3 Points 0 PointsPresentation:The speaker wasaudible, and thepresentation was submitted on time. All criteria met.One Criterion wasmet. No criteria weremet.Criteria 5 Points 3 Points 0 PointsTitle Slide:Presentation title and student nameclearly indicatedAll criteria met.One Criterion wasmet. No criteria weremet.Criteria 10 Points 5 Points 0 PointsScenario Slide: Included relevant contextual information, including the setting, relevant relationships between individuals in the scenario/situation, and environmental variables. All criteria met.At least (50%) ofthe criteria weremet.Less than 50% ofcriteria were met.Criteria 20 Points 10 Points 0 PointsPinpoint Slide:High-qualitypinpoint wasprovided (e.g., measurable, observable, and reliable)All criteria met.At least 66% ofcriteria met.Less than 66%of criteria met.SUPERVISION CASE STUDY PROJECTCriteria 20 Points 10 Points 0 PointsPDC-HS Slides (x4)Evidence of acompleted PDC-HS describing each ofthe following areas on individual slides:1. Instructions: Due Sunday 03/23At least 2 pages long with 3 peer-reviewed references.G-1Frances moved in with her mother, Beatrice, when Beatrice’s health started to fail. Frances cared for her mother as a devoted child would and never expected anything in return. When Beatrice needed to move to a nursing home, she legally transferred the home to Frances for $1,000 and “other valuable consideration.” The house had cost Beatrice $50,000 many years ago, and on the date of the transfer it was valued at $150,000. At the time of the transfer, Beatrice was insolvent, as she owed the IRS $250,000 in back taxes and interest for several years. A few months after the transfer of the house, the IRS filed a notice of federal tax lien for Beatrice’s unpaid taxes. The IRS has filed against Frances for $150,000 of her mother’s taxes, as Frances is in possession of the only valuable asset Beatrice has owned. Can the IRS collect taxes from Frances?G-2The IRS audited the Loser Corporation’s return filed two years ago. The IRS found substantial under-reporting of income and is proposing to review Loser’s returns for the six prior years. Loser knows it underreported its taxable income on its timely filed tax return five years ago. It reported $80,000 of gross sales, $10,000 product returns, and $60,000 costs of goods sold. Its actual amounts were $100,000 gross sales, $2,000 returns, and $40,000 cost of goods sold. Does the IRS have the right to audit this return from five years ago?G-5Paul and Patty Nelson own a home in Nelsonville, Ohio, and maintain apartments in Lexington, Kentucky, New York City (part year), and Philadelphia (part year). Their cars are registered in Kentucky, and they have driver’s licenses from Kentucky. However, the Nelsons consider Nelsonville their “home” because their house was inherited from Paul’s parents and has been in the family for more than 150 years. During the year, Paul traveled between Kentucky and Nelsonville numerous times. Patty did not usually accompany Paul, as she works for a consulting firm on engagements in New York City and Philadelphia. The home office of her employer is in Chicago, but she never works in Illinois. Paul’s sales region for his job is Kentucky and Indiana. For purposes of taking expenses while away from home, Paul and Patty use their Nelsonville home. Is this correct? Where is the Nelsons’ tax home?

Music AppreciationPart 1150 words Please watch the embedded YouTube videos entitled “John Cage about silence” and “John Cage – Branches” before completing this discussion board. In your opinion, what characteristics differentiate sounds from music? Does music have to be pleasing? Is an element of human organization necessary for something to be called music? Do you agree, or disagree with the thoughts of the composer John Cage, and would you consider his piece Branches music? This all leads to the very important question: in your opinion, what is the function of music? Please elaborate in a post giving YOUR opinion to this question, regardless of what you think the textbook would say. You can find the videos on youtube.Part 2150 words Identify the characteristic differences in music from the Renaissance and Baroque eras, specifically through the Elements of Music. Listen to Palestrina’s Pope Marcellus Mass , and Handel’s Messiah, “Rejoice Greatly” . Then identify and post responses to how the two pieces mentioned differ using the following metrics: rhythm, harmony, texture, medium, genre, stylistic era, composer, date, and title.Part 3150 words Before listening to the aria, recitative and trio from the end of Act I of The Marriage of Figaro, review the characters and the scenario (Chapter 32). Take note of the stylistic differences in the music for Cherubino, Susanna, and the Count. Given the roles of these characters and the situation they are now in, how does Mozart use musical elements (from Module 1) to express the nature of the scene? How does the music cue a comic/serious event or character? What role does the orchestra play? Are the instrumentalists simply providing background music, or are they also participating in the events that are unfolding? How does the instrumentation differ between the three different sections (aria/recitative/trio), and how does the changing instrumentation impact the scenes overall?Part 4150 words The Discussion Assignment Defining unified characteristics of “American” music has always been a complex issue, due to our country’s diverse and complex history. Does “American” music trace its roots back to African-American, Native-American or European musical traditions? Or to all of these, and more? The 19th Century Bohemian nationalist composer Antonín Dvořák (Chapter 39) had his own thoughts about this, and even wrote works often considered “American” (such as his “New World” Symphony and “American” String Quartet). But what makes these works American? You can find the same discrepancy if you look at popular musical styles, such as: country, hip-hop, pop, R&B, etc. We see the composers in Chapters 47-50 specifically attempting to …

Scenario: Steven J. Trzaska was the head of L’Oreal USA’s regional patent team, managing the procedure by which the company patented products. As an attorney barred in Pennsylvania, Trzaska had to adhere to professional rules of conduct established by the Supreme Court of Pennsylvania in addition to rules promulgated by the US Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO). In 2014, L’Oreal S.A., the French parent company of L’Oreal USA, enacted a global quota of patent applications each regional office had to file each year. Employees were informed that failure to meet the quota would negatively impact their careers and even their continued employment at L’Oreal. Meanwhile, L’Oreal USA simultaneously enacted a rule to increase the quality of patent applications filed with the USPTO. The second rule led to a decrease in number of patents that could be filed with the USPTO. Trzaska’s team would not be able to fulfill the patent quota.Faced with the problem, Trzaska informed management that his team would not file patents that they did not believe in good faith were patentable. Several weeks after Trzaska’s meeting with the management, he was offered 2 severance packages that he did not accept. Finally, Trzaska was let go. Trzaska subsequently sued L’Oreal, alleging that he was fired for refusal to violate ethical rules that regulate the legal profession.Create a WH Framework chart, similar to Exhibit 2.2. (Pasted below on Page 2) Refer to L’Oreal’s core values and the primary values in Exhibit 2.3 (Pasted below on Page 3) to determine the guidelines to include in the WH Framework.Write an explanation of how you decided on the list of stakeholders and guidelines to include in your WH Framework. Address the following questions in your explanation: · Which stakeholders did Traszka and the management of L’Oreal cater to? Why? · What values did L’Oreal’s management choose when they made the decision to fire Trzaska? Why?Self-ReflectionIn addition to your explanation, address the following self-reflection questions: · How did the WH Framework help you analyze the situation? · Now that you’ve put together the framework, how does the WH Framework help managers with making business decisions? · What type of decisions would the WH Framework chart help you make as a manager?Submit your chart and answers.image1.pngimage2.png
