Infectious diseases remain a substantial cause of human and animal morbidity and mortality, leading to extensive outbreaks and epidemics throughout the last century and claim nearly 4 million deaths and are a source of millions of hospitalizations in emerging countries every year. After reading this week’s chapters and reviewing the PowerPoints and websites provided, please respond to the following (800-1,000 words, citation and reference in APA format):
